High Resolution for Matilda

Arvista has successfully completed mine site aerial surveying for Blackham Resources’ Matilda Gold Project near Wiluna in Western Australia.

We are pleased to be able to provide Blackham with very high resolution aerial survey data to assist their technical staff and mining consultants with:

  • detailed design of cut-backs to historic open pit mines
  • planning of exploration drilling
  • planning of upgrades to tailings storage facilities

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s / drones) were used for the photogrammetric surveying of 1,100 ha (11 km2) of Blackham’s leases, with final survey data being delivered only days later. All data was delivered in formats that enabled immediate use by surveyors and engineers (including Surpac and other CAD formats).

Arvista also provide traditional mine surveying services to Blackham, including WA Authorised Grade 1 surveyors.

Arvista is a leading provider of high resolution aerial surveying services to the mining industry. Our team of surveyors have extensive mine surveying experience and understand the needs and expectations of our clients.
